Tidying Session
A Tidying Session is a meeting conducted in-person (home visit) or virtual (via video call) during which Tidylicious will help you to declutter and organise your home following the principles of the KonMari Method™. Tidying Sessions can be booked as Single Tidying Sessions or as part of a Mini-, Maxi- or Mighty-licious package. All Tidying Sessions, single or as part of a package, must be at least 3 hours and I recommend 4 hours for the first session.

Payment
Payment can be made via bank transfer or Paypal.

Mini-Maxi-Mighty-licious packages
Payment of 50% of the package is required to confirm your first session. The remainder must be paid on the day of the first session. If it’s agreed during a session to extend the session and there are no more package hours left, the hourly fee for the relevant package will apply to the additional hour(s). Any additional hours will need to be paid for at the end of the session.

Single Tidying Session
Payment of 50% of the Tidying Session is required to book your session. The remainder must be paid three days prior to each session, or on the day of the session. If it’s agreed during a session to extend the session, the hourly rate will apply to the additional hour(s). Any additional hours will need to be paid for at the end of each session.

Tidy in Five Online Workshop
Full payment is required to book your workshop.

Rescheduling
Both yourself and Tidylicious have the right to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances. If Tidylicious needs to reschedule for any reason, Tidylicious will let you know as soon as possible and will endeavour to re-schedule the session to a date convenient for both you and Tidylicious. If this is not possible or if it is unacceptable to you, Tidylicious will provide a refund.

Single Tidying Session and Mini-Maxi-Mighty-licious packages
If you need to reschedule a session, the following terms apply:

– more than 72 hours’ notice: the session can be rescheduled free of charge
– 24-72 hours’ notice: you will be charged 50% of the session price
– less than 24 hours’ notice: you will be charged 100% of the session price

The rescheduled session must be completed within 2 months of the original session date.

If you cancel or reschedule a session that has already been rescheduled once, you are not eligible for a refund.

Online workshops
If you’ve booked a 1:1 online workshop and you need to reschedule, you can do so free of charge if you give more than 48 hours’ notice. If you give less than 48 hours’ notice, you will need to pay an additional fee of £15. The rescheduled session must be completed within 2 months of the original session date.

If you’ve booked an online workshop as a group session, it’s not possible to reschedule. No refunds will be given if you cannot attend one or more sessions.

Cancellation policy
Both yourself and Tidylicious have the right to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. If Tidylicious needs to cancel for any reason, Tidylicious will let you know as soon as possible and will provide a refund for those services which have not taken place yet.

Single Tidying Session
If you wish to cancel a Single Tidying Session, and are not looking to reschedule, the following cancellation policy applies:

– more than one week’s notice: full refund
– between 3-7 days’ notice (72-168 hours prior to the session): you will receive 50% of your deposit back
– less than 72 hours’ notice: your 50% deposit payment will not be refunded

If you cancel or reschedule a session that has already been rescheduled once, you are not eligible for a refund.

Mini-Maxi-Mighty-licious packages
If you wish to cancel your package (Mini-, Maxi- or Mighty-licious) before the first session has taken place, the following cancellation policy applies:

– more than one week’s notice: full refund
– between 3-7 days’ notice (72-168 hours prior to the session): you will be charged 25% of a Single Tidying Session
– less than 72 hours’ notice: you will be charged 50% of a Single Tidying Session

If you wish to cancel your package (Mini-, Maxi- or Mighty-licious) after the first session has taken place and prior to the second session (you will need to give at least 72 hours’ notice prior to the second session), you will be charged for your first session as if it were a Single Tidying Session. You will be refunded the balance of what you have paid. If you wish to cancel your package after more than two sessions, your previous sessions will be charged as Single Tidying Sessions, if you’ve booked the Mini-licious package, or possibly at the Mini- or Maxi-licious hourly rates, if you’ve booked the Mighty-licious package, depending on how many hours we have worked together.

If you cancel or reschedule a session that has already been rescheduled once, you are not eligible for a refund.

Online workshop
If you’ve booked an online workshop, 1:1 or as part of a group session, and you need to cancel the whole workshop before the first session takes place, and you’re not looking to reschedule (NB: only 1:1 workshops can be rescheduled; group sessions cannot be rescheduled), the following cancellation policy applies:

– more than 48 hours’ notice: you will be refunded 50% of your payment
– less than 48 hours’ notice: you will not receive any refund

If you’ve booked a 1:1 online workshop and you need to cancel at any point during the online workshop, you will need to give at least 48 hours’ notice prior to your next session, otherwise the above cancellation policy applies. If you give at least 48 hours’ notice, you will be refunded 50% of your remaining sessions. If you’ve booked an online workshop as part of a group session, no refund will be given if you cancel at any point after the first session.

Travel
The fees for Tidying Sessions and Mini-Maxi-Mighty-licious packages include travel costs and time provided the services are carried out within an hour each way, by public transport or bicycle, of SE10 8FN. Outside of this area, a surcharge may apply to cover travel expenses (travel costs and time). These additional fees will be agreed on and charged before a session takes place. The payment terms for these surcharges are the same as for Single Tidying Sessions and Mini-Maxi-Mighty-licious packages.

Length and number of sessions
Prior to each session we will agree to how many hours each session will last. If it’s agreed during a session to extend the session, the hourly rate will apply to the additional hour(s). Tidylicious will keep an eye on the time, and will not let the session overrun without prior permission from you.

Tidylicious will always work at your own pace as tidying can be physically and emotionally demanding. Breaks can be taken as you wish, however please be aware that these breaks will count towards the duration of the booked session. Should the session duration take place during breakfast, lunch or dinner we may need to take a break (usually no more than half an hour) and you will not be charged for this time. This will be arranged prior to the session so you are aware of timings.

Free Consultation
Tidylicious offers a Free Consultation before starting any Tidying Sessions (single or as part of a Mini-Maxi-Mighty-licious package). During this 30-minute Consultation, we can discuss how many Tidying Sessions you may require. However, it is not always possible to give an accurate estimate and more sessions/hours than initially thought may be required depending on a variety of factors as each client and home are unique. Examples of factors that may affect the required number of sessions/hours: the size of your home and volume of items to be addressed, your pace in determining what ‘sparks joy’, your preparation before each session, the amount of tidying you do independently following our session(s).

One-on-one service
Tidying is a very personal journey and requires concentration. Tidylicious advises that you work one-on-one with a consultant. It is therefore strongly recommended that family members, including children, others you may share a home with and pets should not be present when a session is taking place.

Access and safety
Please ensure there is good access immediately outside your home and inside your home. Should the working area be considered unsafe, Tidylicious reserves the right to cancel the session without a refund.

Cleaning and moving items
Tidylicious can help with a bit of cleaning (wipe a shelf or cabinet) and moving small furniture to assist you in achieving a Tidylicious home. However, please note that Tidylicious doesn’t offer a cleaning service and cannot get involved in heavy moving.

Discarding items
The KonMari Method™ focuses on deciding which of your possessions and items spark joy and whether you want to keep them. It is not uncommon through this process to find yourself parting with possessions or items that you decide no longer spark joy. The decision to keep or discard an item is entirely yours. Tidylicious only guides you to help you determine what sparks joy in your life. Tidylicious cannot be held liable for any possessions or items that have been discarded.

In regards to discarding items that no longer spark joy, before considering putting these items in the bin, Tidylicious encourages donating these items to charity, or recycling or selling these items. Items to be discarded of are your sole responsibility. Tidylicious is unable to remove items from your home. Tidylicious is unable to provide a valuation service.

Recommendations
Tidylicious may make suggestions on additional products and services by third parties. Tidylicious always endeavours recommending high quality products and services but is unable to accept any responsibility or liability should the products or services cause you direct or consequential loss or damage.

Confidentiality
Tidylicious will never disclose client information to third parties, nor any personal or business details that may be seen in the course of tidying your home.

The only way in which your situation may be mentioned to others is when Tidylicious gives examples of services that have been provided in the past. If your situation is used as an example, it will be done in a generic and unidentifiable way, e.g ‘a client in central London’. If before and after photographs are shown, these will be anonymised which means that you cannot be identified through the photographs.

Insurance
When Tidylicious provides an in-home service, every care will be taken with your possessions whilst in your home. However, Tidylicious cannot be held liable for any direct or consequential loss or damage. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate and appropriate insurance for your possessions.

Tidylicious holds a public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

Photography
Tidylicious uses before and after photographs to support a client’s tidying journey. These photographs may be shared with KonMari Media, Inc. (KMI) for the sole purpose of demonstrating completion of our session. KMI is the company of Marie Kondo, who has developed the KonMari Method™.

Tidylicious uses before and after photographs to inspire other people and show what can be achieved through tidying. Before and after photographs may be used on social media, printed media, online, and during workshops/talks. The photographs are always anonymised; you, the client, cannot be identified through the photographs. Tidylicious will always ask for your explicit permission to use your photographs in this way.

Privacy Policy
Tidylicious is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) which is the UK’s independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.
