Tidylicious offers home decluttering and organising services in Blackheath.
Do you live in Blackheath and would you like to tidy your home? I’m a local Professional Organiser, also called a Home Declutterer or Home Organiser. I live at the bottom of Blackheath Hill and offer in-home services where I come to your home to help you declutter and organise your home.
What rooms/areas in your Blackheath home are too cluttered?
Are there certain rooms in your Blackheath home that cause you stress, because there’s too much stuff and you don’t know where and how to begin to tackle it? Perhaps your kitchen, wardrobe, or loft? Or is it your bedroom or the garage that are bothering you most?
You can book me for one or more rooms, or we can work on your whole house.
“Hester did an amazing job on organising my kitchen and utility room, when I moved to a house with a smaller kitchen – somehow she made everything fit perfectly and so nicely organised!”
Rachael, Chislehurst
Or is it certain types of belongings that you have too many of? Are you tripping over toys? Drowning in paperwork? Are your book shelves almost snapping in half?

Marie Kondo style home decluttering and organising services in Blackheath
I did my Professional Organiser training with Japanese tidying expert Marie Kondo. Would you like to declutter and organise your home in Blackheath Marie-Kondo-style?
When using the KonMari Method® developed by Marie Kondo, it’s all about keeping what sparks joy and letting go of the rest. It’s a very mindful, and effective, approach with long lasting effects.
I was the first Marie Kondo / KonMari® Consultant in south east London. If you’d like to read more about Marie Kondo’s KonMari Method® please click here.
I live on the border of Lewisham and Greenwich, right in between Deptford and Blackheath. I’ve worked in several homes in Blackheath, sometimes following the Konmari Method® to the letter, other times using other methods too.
I like to take a flexible approach, as it’s all about finding a method that works for you and your home. Different lifestyles and different families require their own unique approach. And I work with you to find the best way that works for you.
My home decluttering and organising services in Blackheath are suitable for a wide range of homes, people and projects.
“I really enjoyed my session with Hester. She made great efforts to understand my house and lifestyle at the beginning and I appreciated her practical and non-judgemental approach. Very early in the session I started to see organised or empty cupboards which was very encouraging. Hester offered great tips and advice about how and where to store belongings that I do need to keep.”

I’m your almost-Blackheath based Home Decluttering and Organising expert
Almost, because I live at the bottom of Blackheath Hill, which is officially Lewisham. So I’m not quite Blackheath based, but I live close enough to walk to Blackheath. Although I usually cycle when I go to Blackheath, despite the steep hill!
I’ve lived in Lewisham for just over 10 years, and I’ve lived in south east London for 20 years (I lived in Brockley/Crofton Park before this, and in Lee/Hither Green before that). I’m originally from the Netherlands and even though I miss the Netherlands sometimes, I love living here. And I’ve got so many memories here, and I keep on making new ones.
I got married at the Clarendon Hotel in Blackheath, and had my wedding photos taken outside All Saints Church in Blackheath, and some more photos taken in Greenwich Park.
I love Parés Footwear in Blackheath for school shoes, and Le Bar A Vin in Blackheath for a glass of wine with friends.
Those of you with children might have seen my name pop up in the John Ball School newsletter. I often offer one of my sessions as a raffle prize at their School Fairs. And I’ve also helped to declutter and organise the John Ball PTA shed.
I’ve been to the Blackheath Conservatory with my kids. For school trips, kids’ birthday parties and my daughter’s violin exam.
So yes, not quite Blackheath based, but enjoying Blackheath life!
Charity shops in Blackheath
What’s really helpful for my clients in Blackheath are the many charity shops. Once you’ve decided that you no longer need or want something, it’s best to get these items out of your house as soon as possible. And a charity drop is usually quick and easy.
Just to name a few: Mary’s Living & Giving Shop for Save the Children Blackheath, Cancer Research UK Blackheath, and Oxfam Blackheath.
I know that a lot of clients also love Boutique by Shelter in Blackheath as they can park their car just across the road behind Blackheath Station, which is especially helpful when you’ve got quite a lot of unwanted items that you want to donate.
There are also charities and organisations that collect items from your home free of charge. You can simply book a time slot online, and then they come to your home to pick up your bags of unwanted items. I’m happy to share the details with you.
My home decluttering and organising services in Blackheath include advice on your exit strategy. Which covers how to get your unwanted items out of your house, whether that’s through a charity drop, selling or otherwise.
Storage solutions for your Blackheath home
I don’t just help with decluttering your home, my services also include finding the best storage solutions for your home in Blackheath.
When you organise your storage in an effective way, your home will look neat and tidy and it will be very easy keep it looking that way. Imagine not having to spend an hour on tidying your home before the cleaner comes?
When you live with other people – a spouse or children – having the right storage solutions in place will make life easier for everyone, because it is easier to find things. No more time wasted on searching for lost items. And no more frustration about this either!
I also find that it is easier to get children involved in the daily tidying when it’s clear where things need to go.
What’s your vision for your Blackheath home?
While we’re lucky to live in a wonderful area with plenty of fantastic places to explore, we still spend a lot of time at home. That’s why it’s so important to create a space that feels peaceful and supportive rather than overwhelming or frustrating.
Does your home ever feel like an endless to-do list?
Imagine having a home you truly love—one that feels welcoming, makes daily life easier, and brings a sense of calm and joy.
You deserve a home that offers a retreat from the busy world, a place where you and your family can relax and recharge.
When booking in my home decluttering and organising services in Blackheath, I can help you to achieve the goals for your home.
How can you work with me and book my home decluttering and organising services in Blackheath?
If you think you’re interested in working with me, the first step is to book in a Free Consultation with me. During this 30-minute video call we’ll discuss what you’d like to tidy, the reasons behind it, and how I can support you in transforming your home into a calm, clutter-free space.
After the Free Consultation, you can decide if you want to go ahead and book your first session with me.
My sessions must be booked for a minimum of four hours. A single 4-hour session is ideal for tackling smaller projects, like (part of) an under-the-stairs cupboard or a section of your kitchen or wardrobe. It can also be a great way to finally start a bigger project you’ve been putting off. With Tidylicious by your side, that overwhelming task will likely feel much more manageable—after all, getting started is often the hardest part!
Most people go on to book more sessions after the initial four hours. When you book a package, rather than single sessions, my hourly rate goes down making it more cost effective.
“Hester was brilliant in both the pre-meet and the 4-hour session. She was clear on what we’d be able to get done and was honest, challenging (in the right way) and kind. I’ve gained so much space in my wardrobe! Would definitely recommend.”
Joanna, SE23
